This smaller Cuban brand is known for its power, and its namesake Simon Bolivar—the liberator of South America—makes for a fitting image. Cohiba
Arguably the most famous cigar brand in the world, Cohiba was created as the personal smoke of Fidel Castro in 1966 and in 2016 it celebrated its 50th anniversary.A nice variety of strengths and formats make up the Cohiba portfolio. Guantanamera
Guantanamera cigars are the ideal choice for newcomers to Cuban smokes as they come with pre-cut heads and have mild bodies while offering very typical Cuban flavors. The cigars are all machine-made by ICT and they are some of the most affordable Cuban cigars but they are very comparable to their more expensive brothers.
H. Upmann
Characteristically, Upmanns offer a smooth, subtle, mild to medium smoke. These cigars are great for beginners, but appeal to the day-time tastes of seasoned connoisseurs. The cigars have a reputation for being milder, which isn’t always reflective of their true taste. Their larger sizes are among the most rare and sought-after cigars in the world.
Hoyo De Monterrey
Cuba’s José Gener registered the Hoyo de Monterrey brand in 1865 and the cigar has long been a major name in Cuban cigars. The brand is named after the Basin of Monterrey, which refers to a fertile plantation bought by tobacco grower José Gener in 1860 that's located on a river’s edge in the Vuelta Abajo region of Cuba and produces some of the best cigars.
Jose L. Piedra
José L. Piedra is a particularly noteworthy Habano not only because its blend is composed of filler tobaccos grown exclusively in the Remedios tobacco region, but also because it is made using the Totalmente a Mano, Tripa Corta, or “totally hand made, short filler” technique. One of the most affordable and begineer friendly cigars from cuba.

Por Larranaga
Por Larrañaga is surely one of the oldest cigar maker still in activity today. Before the Cuban revolution, it was one of the biggest cigar factory in Cuba. It was also the first Cuban cigar factory to manufacture machine-made cigars, Por Larrañaga cigars are generally associated with a caramel sweetness and subtle aromatic flavors.
Quintero
Quintero is an interesting brand for those who want to access to the Habano’s flavour with a medium strength, but with an affordable price. The aroma off of this one is loaded to the brim with toasty earthiness, and that comes through one the cap is clipped. You’ll find that classic Cuban-esque profile of rich, sweet spice and a slightly creamy earthiness.
Rafael Gonzalez
Rafael Gonzalez cigars are made in the famous Romeo y Julieta factory, the brand was first developed with the British market in mind using a light tasting blend of tobacco leaves from the Vuelta Abajo region. All sizes are made ‘totalmente a mano, tripa larga’ – Totally by hand, long filler except one which is totally by hand, short filler.
Ramón Allones
Ramón Allones is one of the oldest brands in the Habanos S.A. cigar portfolio that's still produced. Allones himself is credited as the first manufacturer to decorate his boxes with ornate, branded labels. While the brand isn’t exactly a household name, as it’s one of the smaller brands coming out of Cuba, Habanophiles know it well.
Romeo Y Julieta
Romeo y Julieta is undeniably one of the most highly recognizable and popular Cuban Heritage brands ever made. Established in 1875, and named after Shakespeare’s famous tragic play, the Romeo y Julieta brand has been sparking love affairs with cigar smokers around the world. Sir Winston Churchill was the brand's most illustrious enthusiast.
San Cristobal
The original 1999 release cigars were named after forts that protected old Havana in the Spanish Colonial days. Newer cigars are also named after ancient streets in old Havana. It was previously considered a Niche brand. The range comprises light to medium-strength cigars, using tobacco from the premium Vuelta Abajo region, the land of best tobacco.
Trinidad
Once Havana's mystery brand, the Trinidad was used for gift purposes by the Cuban Government for many years. In 1998, the Trinidad was launched to the public in just one size, the Fundadores. Made at Cohiba's exclusive El Laguito factory, this unusual size cigar offers a nutty, rich, medium flavoured smoke.
Vegueros
Vegueros is a cigar made in Vuelta Abajo, the land of the best tobacco of the world. The sturdy building where this high-quality trademark is manufactured was built in 1868. Vegueros cigars are easily recognizable as they have a distinctive green and white cigar band. The distinctive taste of a Vegueros is mellow and herbaceous. Dominican Cigars

Macanudo cigars has gone to become one of the most popular and recognizable cigar brands ever produced in the Dominican Republic. Even after all these years, the original Macanudo Café sets the standards by which all other Dominican cigars are judged. The evolution of Macanudo cigars continues today with a huge portfolio of popular line extensions available in a variety of sizes.
Matilde Renacer
Matilde Renacer cigars are a boutique selection from famed master blender, Jose Seijas, who has created a premium cigar of unsurpassed quality. The blend is robust with a predominant sweet molasses flavor, plus notes of black Dominican coffee and dark chocolate. It has nice creaminess and it lingers on the palate throughout the smoke, exuding aromas of earth and leather.
Principes
La Aurora cigars are made in the oldest factory in the Dominican Republic. Principes cigars are low-cost, good-quality, everyday cigars presented in boxes of 25 foil-wrapped Petit Coronas. Machine-made at Tabacalera La Aurora in the D.R. with mild Dominican tobacco trimmings, homogenized binder, and tasty Cameroon wrappers, Principes offer a smooth and flavorful everyday cigar.
Project 805
Ventura Cigar Co. is one of the new dogs on the block, but they have been making some very tasty and intriguing cigars. Their Project 805 is no different. This unique cigar introduces the Andullo tobacco into the filler blend that has never been used in a cigar before. This leaf is from the southern regions of the Dominican Republic and has a curing process unlike any other tobacco.
Silencio
The Cohiba Silencio is a medium-bodied smoke that is handmade in Nicaragua.
